Canadian Experience Class Visa

The Canadian Experience Class Visa offers a great pathway for candidates who have worked in Canada and want to become permanent residents. CEC is managed under the Express Entry System and uses the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) to rank interested candidates.
The CEC has since grown into one of Canada’s largest immigration pathways for skilled workers and is regarded as an overwhelming success by governments across Canada, communities, employers, and immigration candidates themselves.

According to the Canadian National Occupational Classification (NOC), skilled work experience means:

  • Managerial jobs which are mentioned in the N.O.C. skill type 0
  • Professional jobs mentioned in the N.O.C. skill type A
  • Technical jobs and skilled trades that are mentioned in the N.O.C. skill type B

The required work experience can be in one or more NOC 0, A or B jobs.
