Manitoba PNP Draw | 558 Invitations

Manitoba PNP Draw

Manitoba PNP Draw invited 558 applicants to apply for permanent residency (PR) in a special Skilled Worker Overseas (SWO) draw, on April 27, 2023.

It was considered a special draw because it didn’t mention- Strategic Recruitment Initiative as a requirement to be considered for an invitation. Therefore, due to this, the cutoff score dropped by 103 points to 616 as compared to the previous MPNP draw.

Further, in this Manitoba PNP draw 344 candidates were declared to have a valid Express Entry Profile while creating an Expression of Interest (EOI) for MPNP.

What is a Skilled Worker Overseas Stream?

Manitoba has a program called the Skilled Workers Overseas (SWO) stream as part of its provincial nominee programs. To qualify for this stream, Manitoba assesses your eligibility based on a points system.

Moreover, to qualify for the Skilled Worker Overseas stream, applicants need to score at least 60 points based on five factors and demonstrate a significant connection to Manitoba. If you don’t have a connection to Manitoba, regardless of your point total, you won’t be eligible for this stream.
