Under the Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot Program, a program launched last year, Vernon B.C, a community in the wine city of Canada,
has opened up its gates to applicants applying for permanent residency in Canada through the RNIP Program from the 1st of February 2020. The program shall be open till February 2022. Vernon has become the fourth community to accept applications through the RNIP, the first three being; Brandon and Rhineland, Manitoba and Sault Ste, Marie, Ontario.
